The duo continues to be steeped in strangeness, and this point is definitely driven home by the video. Hype Means Nothing continues their celebrity infused line with Brooklyn based director/producer Spike Lee. Spike is featured self-masked in typical Hype Means Nothing form, and the French label is beginning to carve out a nice little niche for themselves.
This isn’t the first time that heralded prep cobbler Sperry and independent dope house Band of Outsiders have teamed up, but it is arguably their best effort. The most iconic silhoutte from Sperry, the Topsider receives a premium upgrade with supple pebbled leather on the inside and rugged suede on the outside. Spike Jonze got together with Absolut and shot the short film, I’m Here. The film premiered at Sundance and received a good response. The short is 30 minutes long and covers the relationship between two robots, played by Andrew Garfield and Sienna Guillory, living in LA.
