The Kid named Cudi has managed to stay in the spotlight throughout the “off season” between his foray and sophomore effort. Whether it be smash songs, like Cudderisback, or Symphonies, or the accompanying videos, Cudi is just as much a fixture now as when his debut album dropped. The trend continues with the release of the Soundtrack 2 My Life video directed by Noah Goldwatch.

Kid Cudi has released an alternate video for his smash single Pursuit of Happiness feat. Ratatat and the hip-hop pundits agree, this one is far superior. The video is visually stimulating and is a far better match for the content of the song. Hit the link and enjoy the latest from a Kid named Cudi.

The latest leak from the Kid Cudi camp is a track titled I Do My Thing at it features the aging herbal enthusiast Snoop Dogg. Despite the swirling conjecture about this track, it was not produced by Dr. Dre but will appear on Cudi’s upcoming sophomore effort Cudder: The Revolution of Evolution which one can only hope will drop forthright.

Kid Cudi could probably carry the Fresh Kick Friday feature for the next year straight, and he pretty much did just that over at Complex. It seems that the world can’t get enough of Scoot Mescudi, nor his alter ego Kid Cudi. On the heels of his HBO premier and Time Out NY Cover piece, he’s been featured on Johnny Polygons Riot Song Remix. I won’t claim to know much about Mr. Polygon, but he’s got good taste in feature artists, so that’s a start.

Everyone’s favorite club destroyer, and Hip-Hop’s Mr. solo dolo have released the visuals to their touted track Memories. Purveying the Miami street and club scene, the video is sad longing to Punxatawny Phil’s proclomation of continued Winter.

Kid Cudi takes us way back, to peace love, and the late 60s with his unreleased track Highs N Lows. Sampling an iconic soloist before him, Cudder remixes Bob Dylan’s “Lay Lady Lay” on a track that was recorded a few years ago, but never saw the light of day, until now. A nice mellow jam to start your day.

We posted this song a few weeks ago, and if you couldn’t a moment to scoop it up, you can do so right here. The visual accompaniment to the track featuring UK electro artist Dan Black and Kid Cudi has released and it’s simultaneously futuristic and retro inspired. While this may seem like an oxymoron, the video is truly stimulating, makes captivating use of movie trailers of yesteryear.

The freestyle “cudderisback’ leaked about two months ago and now we have a video to go along with it. During a stop in Boston for his latest tour run Kid Cudi and the crew put together this little documentary. Directed by Jason Goldwatch/DECON, the videos set to the tune of Cudi’s latest song “cudderisback“. It’s pure jokes so enjoy and laugh a bit.
