Anyway, we’re getting down to the wire with this travel tournament, and it’s time to pick the number one spot for the categories of Airlines and Points Programs.

I’m not surprised to see these four options end up in the elite eight, but I have to say… I cannot wait to see which ones win this round. Based on the previous rounds of voting, it’s going to be a VERY tight race…

Or should I say, an infinitely tight race 😉

🏨 Get paid to stay at a hotel for three nights

We don’t talk a lot about timeshare deals here at Daily Drop, mainly because the timeshare business is MESSED UP.

I’m not kidding… it ruins lives, people. So before reading this segment, do some research on the industry.

Companies offer amazing deals (like the one you’re about to read about), with the catch that during your stay you attend a two-hour timeshare presentation.

Taking advantage of timeshare deals like this is amazing if you know what you’re doing and can get through those two hours unscathed.

But if you are easily convinced, and have any inkling that you might be pushed into buying a timeshare, do NOT sign up for these deals. They are legally allowed to lie to you, and are trained to “not let people leave without buying something.”

Okay. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s talk about the fun side of timeshare travel hacks.

Right now, Bluegreen Vacations, the timeshare arm of Choice Hotels, is offering an insane deal.

Here are the details:

• Get a 3-night hotel stay for $279 (various locations)

• Get a $150 American Express gift card

• Get 30,000 bonus Choice Privileges points

• You must attend a two-hour timeshare presentation

• If you cancel more than 14 days in advance, there is a $50 fee

• If you cancel less than 14 days out, there is a $99 fee

Like all deals from this realm, it is an amazing value if you can withstand the timeshare meeting.

The $150 gift card can be used like cash to purchase anything, making this deal essentially a 3-night hotel getaway for $129.

In terms of where you can go, there are dozens of options ranging from big cities to more scenic destinations like the White Mountains of New Hampshire, my home state, and the undisputed best state in the country. 🤘🏼

But we haven’t even incorporated the 30,000 Choice points into the mix yet.

At face value, these points are worth about one cent each, making this bonus worth $300.

But you’re not reading any old trash newsletter.

You’re reading friggin’ DAILY DROP, which means you’re going to get way more than $300 out of those 30,000 points…

You could use 20,000 of those points to book this hotel in Venice, Italy which costs almost $500 per night after tax… And you’d still have 10,000 left over!

There are plenty of other sweet spots like that. If you wanted to book a 2-night stay there, you could transfer points from Citi to Choice hotels at a 1:2 ratio, meaning you’d only need an additional 5,000 points to have enough for two nights.

Overall, this is a no-brainer if you want to get a dirt-cheap hotel stay, plus enough points for another entire hotel stay.

I have to say it again - DO NOT BUY A TIMESHARE.
