Good morning and happy Friday from beautiful Lijiang, China. 🇨🇳

I just got back to town after visiting the famous Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with my Daily Drop homies McKay and Tiffany:

But don’t worry - we didn’t forget about you lovely people. Here are some travel deals for you to ponder before you finish off the week:

✈️ Earn easy(ish) Frontier elite status

Frontier Airlines isn’t what comes to mind when we think of airlines with premium perks and flight experiences…

But what they do offer is a budget-friendly way to travel around the U.S.

And if you have elite status, you can save even more money on all of the extra add-ons.

Right now, Frontier is offering a way to fast-track your way to Platinum status, which could be a great opportunity for domestic flyers.

Here’s the deal:

Normally, you need to earn 50,000 Elite Status Points in a year to unlock Platinum status with Frontier.

With this promo, you can earn 20,000 Elite Status Points before April 30th and unlock Platinum through the end of 2025.

As usual, you do need to register for the offer, so make sure you do that first. 👇

So, is this a good deal? How hard is it to achieve? Wtf is an “Elite Status Point?”

Calm down… I’m getting there…

Elite Status Points are earned by spending money on Frontier.

For example, normal members will earn 10x Frontier miles and status points per dollar on flights:

Earning rates per dollar for various tiers of Frontier membership

So let’s say you book a flight from Denver to Orlando in March.

If you book this nonstop flight, you’d spend a grand total of $100, which is not bad for a nearly 4-hour flight… plus, that’s not including add-ons, which you will also earn miles on.

Anyway, you’d be looking at $200 for a round-trip, which would earn you 2,000 Elite Status Points.

Plus, as you can see from the earlier graphic, once you hit 10,000 miles, you earn Gold Status - meaning you’re earning rate goes up, and the remaining Elite Status Points will require even less spend.

If you did unlock Platinum Status, you’d get some GREAT benefits:

You’d get free checked bags for the whole family, free seat selection, priority boarding, and even more flexibility with changes and cancellations.

Obviously, this isn’t the easiest endeavor in the world… you definitely need to do a bit of flying and spend a bit of money.

Still, this is a great opportunity for someone who flies domestically and wants an easier way to get some elite benefits.

🏨 New promo from… Best Western?

Woah… a Best Western promo??? That’s a new one, eh?

But don’t scroll away just yet… it’s actually pretty solid. For the next few months, you can earn some easy Best Western gift cards when you stay at hotels in North America.

Here is the deal:

When you stay two nights at Best Western hotels before May 11th, 2025, you’ll earn a $50 gift card.

You can also do the same thing again and earn ANOTHER $50 gift card for a total of $100.

You do need to register for this promo, so go do that now.

Overall, this is a pretty solid offer, especially since Best Western has plenty of budget-friendly properties.

For example, this hotel in the Chicago metro area costs only $77 per night. 👇

That means after spending $154 on two nights, you’d get a $50 gift card, which is a nice 32% return on spend.

I wouldn’t go out of your way to take advantage of the offer, especially with so many other good hotel promos going on right now.

But if you find yourself traveling in the U.S., Canada, or the Caribbean over the next three months, this is a great way to book a cheap stay and get a nice reward.

Current Transfer Bonuses

  • 15% bonus from MR Points to Avianca LifeMiles (ends February 28th)

  • 30% bonus from UR Points to Virgin Atlantic (ends February 17th)

  • PLUS, there are 16 cards with elevated offers right now!
