🥇Amtrak’s Free Companion Ticket Sale

I personally love train travel. Admittedly, I’ve done it more throughout Europe, but our very own Amtrak is holding its own.

And right now, they have a current promo going on called the “Roomette Free Companion Flash Sale” where you can bring a second person along for the ride at no additional cost!

So this is a true BOGO deal.

Amtrak’s Roomette is their most inexpensive private room model and includes two seats that can transform into separate beds at night 🙌

You’ll also have access to a bathroom and shower in your car (a must for me). Plus, all your meals on the train are included (also a must for me 🙃).

Now for the deets:

• You must make your booking by October 31st (it’s called a flash sale for a reason)

• The promo is good for travel between November 2024 and January 2025

• The offer is valid on all of Amtrak’s long-distance trains except the southbound Auto Train

• There are some blackout dates

🥈 Kimpton Hotels’ new password for fall and winter travel

Kimpton Hotels is giving luxury vibes, and, well… that’s because they’re one of IHG’s luxury brands.

Kimpton also likes to get a little fancy a few times a year by releasing a secret password that guests can use at check-in, which will grant them various free perks and prizes.

Interesting… very interesting…

Their latest password is good to use for travel between November 1, 2024, and January 31, 2025, and that password is IT’S GIVING.

Honestly, at this point, I think Gen Z will find any opportunity to say “it’s giving,” even if that means booking a room at a nice hotel 😅

So if you are over the age of 26 and still feel called to say “it’s giving” to a Kimpton staff member, here’s what that could get you:

• Complimentary room (or suite!) upgrades

• Complimentary breakfast

• Complimentary parking

• A bottle of wine

• Complimentary cocktails at the bar

• A food and bev credit
