Good morning from the gorgeous Grand Hyatt in Doha!

I am still absolutely wrecked from a couple of massive travel days to get here⊠But I used several Hyatt Free Night Awards to save myself $600 a night for this stay, so itâs all good.
And if youâd like to learn about some travel deals and tips to help save yourself some money when traveling, youâve come to the right place đ

â You can come out ahead when buying MR Points through our favorite shopping portal, Rakuten.
â See how Alaska just made award redemptions WAY better!
â In this weekâs YouTube video, we talk about the worldâs best economy-class seat (and I can confirm!).
â Stack as many shopping portal benefits, credit card perks, and loyalty rewards as you can to maximize your savings!

đ Favorite pick of the week: March Top Cards update
How in the world is it already March? But also⊠thank god itâs already March (e.g., I hate winter â hence, why Iâm in the Middle East right now đ).
The biggest update weâve all been talking about is the new, elevated welcome offer for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card.
Right now, you can earn 75,000 bonus miles (plus a $250 travel credit!!) after meeting the spend requirement.
We saw this amazing offer last year, and honestly, I wasnât sure weâd see it again.
Itâs just soooo good. TrulyâŠ

âŠaccording to todayâs kids.
Capital One Miles are so insanely valuable. Not only can you transfer them to some of the best airline partners, but Capital One is unique in that you can also use their miles to offset any travel purchase by applying them as a statement credit at a rate of one cent per point!
Additionally, we saw Hilton up their game on some of their co-branded cards. Not only are you getting a nice chunk of points with the welcome offer, but youâll also get a Free Night Reward⊠even on their no-annual-fee card đ
And the most baller thing about these offers? Hilton Free Night Rewards have no cap.
This means that if thereâs a standard room available, you can use that reward to book a free night at ANY hotel, no matter the points needed⊠Itâs wild, yâall.
Feel free to peruse our entire list of cards with elevated welcome offers â there are plenty of others beyond what I highlighted here!

đ„Weâve got ANOTHER transfer bonus to the Avios program
Apparently, Avios is that hot, popular girl in high school that everrrryoneeee wanted to be.
First, we saw 20% transfer bonuses from ThankYou Points and MR Points to Avios. And that jealousy to give a little âpoints boostâ to Avios was strongâŠ
Because UR Points joined the fan girl club by also offering a new 20% transfer bonus to several airlines that use Avios â available until March 31st!

Now remember, you can seamlessly move your Avios between all partner airlines that use this program (British Airways, Qatar Airways, Finnair, Aer Lingus, and Iberia) đ
I recently took advantage of the MR points bonus to transfer some points over to book several Qatar Airways and British Airlines flights for this current trip Iâm onâŠ
Transfer bonuses allow you to magically have a chunk of free points show up in your account. Itâs amazing.
And donât forget that Iberia offers a great sweet spot when flying from the U.S. to Europe.
For example, youâd need just 34,000 Avios for this flight from New York to Madrid IN FREAKING BUSINESS CLASS. But with this bonus, youâd only need 28,000 UR Points from a card like this to make it happen đ±
All this to say⊠if youâve got any of the points currencies offering a transfer bonus right now, it could be a GREAT time to move some points over if youâre planning on booking an upcoming flight using Avios.
đ„ Flying Blueâs March Promo Rewards
This is a fan-favorite. And if youâre gearing up to book summer travel, now could be a great time to start browsing.
Each month, KLM and Air Franceâs Flying Blue program releases new routes with pretty darn cheap award availability.
Youâll just need to book your flights by March 31st for travel from now until August 31st.
Check out this monthâs list đ
Even though award rates slightly increased last month, still being able to fly across the Atlantic for 18,750 miles is really good.
Thatâs about as straightforward as it gets, folks. And remember, you can transfer points from every major bank to Flying Blue, making it even easier to snag a good redemption!
