Good morning from Lebanon, my 105th country!
Iâve got some interesting travel plans coming up, but for now, Iâve got three ways to earn a crap load of points for you:

đł 5 Reasons You Shouldnât Wait to Apply for the Chase Sapphire PreferredÂŽ Card
Itâs truly the BEST time of the year for us miles and points nerds â and thatâs because our favorite card, the Chase Sapphire PreferredÂŽ Card has launched an elevated welcome offer: Earn 100,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. đ
But this offer wonât last forever⌠Here are five reasons why nowâs the time to act:
Bonus points galore
The typical welcome offer is significantly lower than the currently elevated one (hello, 100k bonus points đ).
Those 100,000 bonus points are worth at least $1,250 when redeemed through Chase TravelSM at 1.25 cents each, but they could hold even more value if you take advantage of Chaseâs airline and hotel transfer partners... more on that in a sec.
This is a rare deal
I think all our jaws collectively hit the floor when we saw this elevated offer.
The last time the Sapphire Preferred boasted a bonus this high was back in 2021⌠And might I remind you that was four long years ago. đ¤Ż
We have no idea how long this elevated welcome offer will last, and we donât know when weâll see it again.
Itâs perfect timing for summer travel
Spring is the perfect time to start earning points for peak summer travel â and remember, the summer season doesnât technically end until late September, so you have plenty of time!
If you add the Sapphire Preferred to your wallet now, youâll have at least 100,000 bonus points ready to book award flights or hotels by the time your summer plans roll around.
Maximum flexibility
Holding a card that earns transferable points is key to getting the most value out of your travel redemptions. đŞ
Itâs true that you can redeem Chase points directly in the Chase TravelSM portal for 1.25 cents per point, but itâs a great feeling knowing that you can also transfer your Chase points to some of the best airlines and hotels in the business.
This allows you to reach all corners of the earth, thanks to Chaseâs many transfer partners like:
Air Canada Aeroplan
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
Air France/KLM Flying Blue
British Airways Executive Club
World of Hyatt
Set yourself apart from the rest
If you hold the Sapphire Preferred, youâre setting yourself up for major travel success â far beyond other travel hopefuls.
The Sapphire Preferred can be the foundation of your credit card trifecta. This will help accelerate your ability to earn additional points on different spending categories spread across multiple Chase cards.
Youâll also be able to transfer your Chase points to Hyatt, which is unique to the Chase credit card family.
Being able to book award nights at gorgeous Hyatt hotels and resorts is one of the best uses of your Chase points, and it all starts with holding the Sapphire Preferred.
Bottom line
This 100k elevated offer on the Sapphire Preferred is one of the most valuable weâve seen in years â and it wonât be around forever. Act now before it disappears!

âď¸ New Southwest members earn 5k bonus points
Yesterday, I told you about how Southwest members could get easy Frontier elite status.
The one major caveat was that it wasnât available to new Southwest Rapid Rewards membersâŚ
Thankfully, I have good news for those of you in that boat â Southwest will give 5,000 points to new members who take their first flight with Southwest!
Here is how this works:
If you are not currently enrolled in Southwest Rapid Rewards (which is free to do), you can create an account using this link and instantly earn 750 Southwest points.
Then, if you take two one-way flights or one round-trip within 60 days, youâll earn another 4,250 points (on top of the points you earn normally from flying).
Because of math, this means youâll end up with a total of 5,000 bonus points!
If you are traveling with a family, this is a great chance to enroll your kids and spouse to build up a nice little points stash for the fam.
5,000 points isnât a ton, but it could be enough for a free flight depending on where you fly:
Even if itâs not enough for a free flight, you can just transfer some points over from the Sapphire Preferred to top up your balance.
Anyway, this is a nice little treat for new Southwest members.

đ¨ Earn 20x Hyatt points per dollar
Hyatt points are the most valuable points currency in the world. Because of their dope award chart, a small amount of points can get you a long way.
So when Hyatt offers ways to earn a ton more points, we get excited.
Right now, for example, theyâre offering 11x points for certain members on certain stays.
Hereâs the deal:
If you hold the hotelâs co-branded credit card, The World of Hyatt Credit Card youâll earn 11x points on stays at Under Canvas, a camping/glamping brand that Hyatt partners with.
Hyatt members already earn 5x points per dollar on all stays, and the card earns an additional 4x points per dollar at Hyatt.
So in the end, youâll be earning TWENTY points per dollar.
You need to register for this offer, so please do that now if youâre a cardholder and interested in this.
And donât go booking a stay for next week, either â the promo is valid for stays between June 1 and September 7 of this year.
So, how valuable is this, you ask? Well, letâs look at an exampleâŚ
This Under Canvas property in Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah costs $329 per night. đ
Itâs a lot â but itâs also a really unique experience!
Plus, this promo will earn you 6,580 points per night.
That means that staying just two nights here would earn you enough points to book almost FOUR more nights at a Hyatt hotel like this one in Germany:
So while the stays are expensive, the return on that spend is fantastic if youâre eligible for this promo.
And, again, you can always top up your Hyatt point balance by transferring points from the World of Hyatt Card we told you about earlier.

Thatâs all for today, folks. Iâve talked your ear off quite a bit today, so Iâll leave you alone now.
But make sure you tune in tomorrow, the week is just getting started!
Cheers,
