Good morning from Kuala Lumpur, where I’m passing through on another marathon series of flights to finish off the SAS million-mile challenge.

I was going to tell you all about it today (with a big surprise for one of you), but too many good deals have since arisen… so you’ll need to wait until tomorrow.

For today, here’s some cyber stuff:

1️⃣ Southwest Cyber Sale

First up on the docket is Southwest.

Until TOMORROW only, they are offering a generous 30% off of cash and award bookings, but with some fine print…

Southwest Cyber Sale

Here are the deets:

  • You need to book by tomorrow

  • Use promo code CYBERSALE

  • Valid for the following dates:

    • January 7th through March 5th for domestic flights

    • January 7th through May 22nd for Hawaii, PR, and international flights

  • There are blackout dates…

Overall, this is great for anybody who is looking a couple of months in advance and wants to save a buck or two on flights.

Although there are a ton of blackout dates, I was able to find plenty of solid deals, like this flight from San Diego to Chicago for as few as 12,000 Southwest points.

SAN-MDW for 12,000 southwest points

But even if you’re looking for a good cash deal, those exist, too!

Looking at routes like Baltimore to Detroit, most fares on most days are still discounted and could be a great choice for saving some cash, especially if you’re a die-hard Southwest fan.

BWI-DTW for 30% off with the Cyber Sale

Of course, if you’re a TRUE die-hard Southwest fan, you probably want to have a co-branded credit card to get some extra perks on your cheap flights.

All of the airline’s cards currently have elevated welcome offers, so make sure you check those out now to enjoy the benefits on your trips next year.

2️⃣ JetBlue Cyber Sale

Alright, next up on the docket is Jetblue, who, like Southwest, is offering a solid sale on both cash and points bookings.

The downside with this one is that it ends TODAY… so you need to act quickly.

Here are the details:

  • No promo code required

  • Again, you must book by midnight tonight (EST)

  • Valid for travel between December 9th, 2024 and April 8th, 2025

  • Travel on Fridays and Sundays is NOT included (😭)

  • Unsurprisingly, there are blackout dates

Alright, so there is definitely some fine print, and it's a bummer that the most popular travel days aren’t included…

Still, there are some solid deals, especially out of JetBlue hubs like Boston and JFK:

Examples of cheap flights departing from New York JFK airport on JetBlue

$49 bucks to travel from the Northeast to Florida is about as good as it gets for a nicer airline like JetBlue.

For those dirt-cheap flights like the one from JFK to Charleston, SC, the corresponding award prices are also nice at just 4,700 JetBlue points. 👇

Don’t forget that you can instantly transfer points from multiple banks to JetBlue, so getting points in your account and booking today is definitely an option.

If you don’t have points with any bank… well… go do that now so you can catch the next sale. 😊

Beyond the dirt-cheap flights, you can also save some money or points on longer or international routes.

This flight from Fort Lauderdale to Medellin, Colombia, is only 7,700 points one-way, which is a great deal.

FLL to MDE for 7,700 JetBlue points

So here’s the bottom line:

JetBlue drops a number of sales like this throughout the year, so this isn’t the last time you’ll see good deals like this.

But given the discount on cash AND points bookings with the large travel window, now is definitely a good time to lock down some plans if you’re willing to commit.

3️⃣ Delta Cyber Sale

And finally… there’s Delta, who is juggling a ton of different parts for their Cyber Sale. Let’s take a look.

Delta cyber sale

Flights

It’s important to know that you must book by TODAY, December 4th, for eligible travel between January 7 and March 18, 2025.

I am seeing a TON of crazy low round-trip deals for flights all over the country. Here are just a few examples 👇

Delta cyber sale booking examples

$97, round-trip, from Seattle to Vegas and back is wild. Don’t feel like spending cash? 5,000 SkyMiles ain’t half bad either 🙌

Personally, I’d still go for the cash fare, though.

Interested in heading to Europe? There are a ton of round-trip flights for around $400 or less!

Just a couple of routes and destinations.

Bonus miles

In addition to super low cash flights, you also have the opportunity to earn bonus SkyMiles for various things:

  • 5x miles per dollar on Delta gift cards of $400 or more

  • 4x miles per dollar on Delta car rentals and Delta Stays through February 2025

  • 4x miles per dollar on Delta cruise bookings through December 2025

Delta Vacations packages

If you purchase a Delta Vacations package with SkyMiles that includes at least one Delta flight and at least two hotel nights, you’ll get an extra 10% in value for your miles.

Again, you need to lock this in by today 😬 but eligible travel goes through June 30, 2025.

I think it’s pretty obvious that the low cash deals on Delta flights are the big winners of their Cyber Sale. If you can make a last-minute booking happen, it’s hard to beat these prices!

Psst. Have you heard about our newest points search tool, Daily Drop Pro?

In this week’s video, Brendan is going to give us a step-by-step walkthrough of how to begin a search for an award flight, set up an account (if needed) to transfer your points to the airline, and ultimately book that ticket 😎

If you want to take advantage of scoring (nearly) free travel, this is a great place to start!

That’s all for today, amigos! I hope you enjoyed this cyber-tastic Wednesday.

Make sure you tune in tomorrow because I’ve got some cool stuff on the docket… assuming no other last-minute deals pop up.

Until then, take care ❤️
