Good morning from Dublin, Ireland - the land of stunning landscapes, top-tier Guinness, and questionable pub-related life decisions. š»š®šŖ
Iām about to hop over the Atlantic, so letās get down to business:

š” The secret way to book vacation rentals with points
Humankind can be divided into two unique types of people: hotel people, and vacation rental people.
Humanity is no more complex than that (Iām just joking, chill out).
Yāall know me - Iām all about hotel loyaltyā¦ Itās kind of my thing.
But if you travel with a family, need more room to spread out, or just want a place that feels more like home, thereās a little-known way to use points for vacation rentals - and itās actually good.
And today, Iām letting you in on a little secretā¦
It involves Wyndham points.
*Cue dramatic gasp.* š±

Yep. You heard that right.
There is a SECRET sweet spot that turns Wyndham points into some of the most valuable out there.
Iām talking about the special partnership between Wyndham and Vacasa Vacation Rentals.
If you havenāt heard of this company before, Itās basically like Airbnb. The main difference is that the homes areā¦ wellā¦ nice.
ā¦Oh, and you can book them with Wyndham points for EXCELLENT value.
Hereās how it works (please read carefully):
Rentals that are priced lower than $250 per night per room will cost 15,000 Wyndham points per night per room.
Rentals priced between $250 and $500 per night per room will cost 30,000 Wyndham points per night per room.
If you own a Wyndham credit card, youāll get a 10% discount.
Bookings are freely cancelable up to 30 days prior to check-in. Otherwise, you must forfeit your points if you cancel (please donāt do this).
So yeah. 15,000 points per night (per room) is a solid deal, considering a one-bedroom vacation rental can fit quite a few people given the extra space compared to a hotel room.
Let me give you a quick example of how sweet this is and how to calculate the priceā¦
This rental in Lake Tahoe runs for a cool $237 per night. All in all, this rental would cost $1,186 for a five-night stay later this month.
But because itās technically listed as a one-bedroom rental (even though it fits five people), it qualifies for the 15,000 Wyndham points per night rate.
That means that instead of $1,186, you could simply use 75,000 Wyndham points!
In this scenario, youād be getting a value of 1.6 cents per point. For reference, Wyndham points are generally worth just over one cent per point when redeemed at Wyndham hotelsā¦
The best part about this proposition is that you can transfer points to Wyndham at a 1:1 ratio from Capital One Miles and ThankYou Points.
š”Donāt forget! Right now, the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card has an elevated welcome offer of 75,000 Capital One Miles AND a $250 credit to use with Capital One Travel once you hit the minimum spend.
Now, you canāt book these online with points (because that would be too easy, right? š), but hereās how you actually do it:
1ļøā£ Find a property you like on Vacasaās website.
2ļøā£ Call Wyndhamās dedicated booking line at 1-800-441-1034.
3ļøā£ Politely inform the agent that yes, this is a real thing and yes, they can book it for you. š
Look, I know most of you probably ignore Wyndham news.
And honestly? Fair.
But next time I drop a Wyndham-related deal in your inbox, maybe donāt write it off entirely.
Because when you can turn Wyndham points into luxury vacation rentals worth 1.5ā2 cents per pointā¦ suddenly, this program looks a whole lot more exciting. š¤©

āļø 20% award sale on this world-class airline
Every month, Singapore Airlines drops their exciting āSpontaneous Escapesā offers. Itās cool, but itās not for everyone.
This is NOT that.
Nope, folks. This time, Singapore is celebrating 10 million frequent flier members by offering a 20% award sale across their entire network.
Here are the details you actually care about:
Book by: March 23, 2025
Travel between: May 1 ā November 15, 2025
Classes included:
Economy class (worldwide)
Economy and premium economy (to/from the U.S.)
Blackout dates apply (Singapore obviously had to Singapore this upācheck the full list here)
Only applies to KrisFlyer miles redemptions (not cash fares)
Youāll see discounted rates in the normal search results on the website or app
And honestly? Singapore, you did good with this one. š
This promo gives you plenty of time to plan ahead, meaning you can lock in summer and fall travel now and save a ton of points in the process.
For example, you can fly between New York (JFK) or Newark (EWR) and Singapore (SIN) in premium economy for just 64,400 KrisFlyer miles with this sale:
64k points for almost 20 hours in premium economy is an excellent deal and a perfect way to jumpstart an adventure around Asia.
As for availability on these routes, the summer is looking pretty roughā¦ but in August, availability is wide open still.
Even short-haul routes have some solid rates.
For example, I frequently fly between Jakarta (CGK) and Singapore (SIN), which is bookable for just 6,800 KrisFlyer miles in economy:
Singapore KrisFlyer miles are some of the easiest to earn since you can transfer points from four major bank programs at a 1:1 ratio:
Basically, if youāve got any one of the best travel credit cards, you probably have the ability to earn KrisFlyer miles.
Singapore is one of my favorite airlines to fly whether itās in economy, premium economy, or business class.

Cheap award rates, premium airline, nonstop long-haul routes, good availability. This one checks all of the boxes, folks. ā

As you probably know from the last two minutes of reading, points and miles can be a game changer for saving money on flights.
But one of the other ways to save money on flights isā¦ wellā¦ finding cheap-ass flights.
And Google Flights is by FAR the best tool for doing that. But Google Flights is also packed full of other features, some of which can even help in the award search process.
So, in this weekās Daily Drop YouTube video, Brendan will teach you how to use Google Flights like a pro. šŖ

Thatās all for today, my friends! Letās finish off with something fun:
