✈️ 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Red
After reading the header of this section, your first reaction might be… What the f**k is Virgin Red?
My response to you would be… Please don’t use cuss words. This is a family-friendly newsletter, and only a true monster would use such words in a newsletter like this.
Then, I’d tell you that Virgin Red is the overarching points program of the Virgin brand.
You can use Virgin Red points for anything from Virgin hotels, Virgin Voyage cruises, and, most importantly, Virgin Atlantic flights.
And until April 30th, you can transfer Capital One miles to Virgin Red with a hefty 30% bonus.
That means that as long as your Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic accounts are linked, this is essentially a 30% transfer bonus to the airline.
That means that these tasty flights from the U.S. to Europe (which normally cost 10,000 Virgin miles) would only run you 7,700 Capital One miles, which is, as we say in the biz, “very good.”
If you wanted to step things up, you could book the same flight in Virgin’s Premium Economy for 13,500 miles.
And while that sounds lovely, you’d also need to shell out a whopping $453 in taxes and fees, which is more than it costs to fly from New York to London on basically every other airline in normal economy without any points needed…
So… do what you want with that information.
If you’re someone who flies Virgin often, this could be a great time to speculatively transfer miles over without even having a specific trip in mind.
Don’t forget that last year, Virgin offered a Virgin Voyages cruise for two for just 80,000 Virgin Red points (and ZERO dollars in taxes and fees).
If you transfer over just 62,000 Capital One miles, you’ll have enough Virgin Red points to book this cruise when a similar offer comes around (which is, of course, not guaranteed).
So whether you have a specific flight in mind, are considering a hop over to Europe down the road, or want to cross your fingers for a cruise deal, this is a great chance to multiply your Capital One miles and use them with one of the best travel brands in the world.

You know them, you love them, and… maybe you want to know even more about them.
I’m talking about MR points—the points currency that is earned by some of our favorite credit cards.
MR points are super valuable and build the foundation for scoring (nearly) free travel all over the world, so if you care to indulge a bit further, we’ve got a deep-dive podcast all about it!
Pssst, you can also watch it on YouTube 🙂
That’s all for today, kiddos. I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to have another giveaway on the books - it feels like it’s been forever!
We can’t wait to give one of you lucky ducks the trip of a lifetime. But for now, take care, and I’ll see you tomorrow to finish off the week.
Ciao ❤️
