🤩 Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, and Korean Air have all just unveiled amazing new premium seats to be installed over the next couple of years… and they look freaking awesome.

But you know what’s not confusing? These VERY GOOD updates from the travel world:
💳 25% transfer bonus to Flying Blue
Flying Blue is freaking awesome.
They’re constantly adding new airline partners (more on that later 😏), offering monthly Promo Rewards, and occasionally even a solid transfer bonus.
Oh, speaking of that…
Until August 17th, you can transfer ThankYou points to Flying Blue with a 25% bonus.
This presents endless opportunities to get outsize value for your ThankYou points, and I’ll tell you how.
As you know, Flying Blue offers monthly discounted award flights between the U.S. and Europe for just 15,000 miles.
This month, that list includes cities like Atlanta, Denver, Dallas, and Raleigh/Durham.
That’s already a stellar deal.
But with this 25% bonus, that price tag goes down to just 12,000 ThankYou points, which is a GREAT deal.
Personally, I use Flying Blue miles ALL the time around the world.
Last year, I booked a flight from Madagascar to Tanzania (via Kenya) for just 21,000 Flying Blue miles on a flight that was selling for over $1,000…
Just a few months ago, I used 18,000 Flying Blue miles to fly from Jakarta to Melbourne, Australia.
With the current bonus, that would only mean spending 14,000 ThankYou points…
Considering this was a 6-hour, 3,200-mile flight, that’s amazing value.
But there are less obscure ways to use Flying Blue miles, too.
For example, Flying Blue also allows you to redeem miles on luxurious Middle Eastern carriers like Oman Air and Etihad.
You could book this 14-hour nonstop flight between Abu Dhabi and Toronto for just 43,500 Flying Blue miles.
With this transfer bonus, you’d only need to shell out 35,000 ThankYou Points to fly for 14 hours on one of the world’s best airlines.
So here’s the bottom line:
There has never been a better time to pick up a card that earns ThankYou Points and get outsize value for them.
Since this bonus is good for almost a month, you have plenty of time to rack up points before it’s too late.
✈️ You can now redeem miles on this airline
Speaking of amazing, world-class airlines that you can book with Flying Blue miles…
As of TODAY, you can now earn and redeem Flying Blue miles with El Al, Israel’s flag carrier and largest airline.
El Al connects Tel Aviv with cities all over the world and has some pretty nice planes.
Until now, however, there haven’t been many ways to book these flights with points and miles.
…. or at least not for any kind of decent value (*ahem* Delta SkyMiles).
For example, you can fly between the U.S. and Tel Aviv for around 45,000 miles nonstop:
With the current 25% transfer bonus, that’s just 36,000 ThankYou points.
While this might not sound like the craziest value in the world, it’s the best you’ll get.
Delta will charge you 82,000 SkyMiles for the same flight on the same exact day, for example. 👇
The best part about this new partner, however, is that Flying Blue doesn’t add any surcharges to El Al award flights.
The flight I referenced earlier from Newark to Tel Aviv only has $36 in cash fees.
As I mentioned earlier, El Al is known for having an excellent business-class product complete with great service and lie-flat seats.
If you wanted to book one of these seats with Delta SkyMiles, it would cost you… wait for it… 320,000 miles.
Which is great compared to what Delta charges on their own planes to fly to Israel - a pants-soiling 480,000 miles… which is just comical.
With Flying Blue, this 10-hour flight in a lie-flat bed will run you just under 80,000 miles.
With a 25% transfer bonus, that comes down to just under 64,000 bank points.
That is a VERY good deal if you ask me.
So here’s the bottom line:
El Al is yet another world-class airline that Flying Blue has added to its roster of partners.
While I’m sure most of you aren’t chomping at the bit to fly to Israel right now, It’s worth keeping on your radar for the future - and an excellent way to redeem your points for outsize value.
