Hey, yâall, welcome back to Daily Drop!
We have a special edition of the newsletter today, and I think you all will like it đ
As you probably know, the Chase Sapphire PreferredÂź Card currently has a crazy welcome offer of 60,000 points plus a $300 Chase TravelSM credit.
I keep telling you about it because itâs a fantastic offer!
But Iâve heard from many of you asking why itâs so good. After all, it doesnât sound like the craziest offer weâve seenâŠ
So today, I want to tell you about five ways you could use this welcome offer in an effort to illustrate just how good of a deal this is:
đȘđș Book a trip for TWO to Europe
âïž Stretch it to the limit
đïž Book a luxury Caribbean getaway

1. đȘđș Book a trip for TWO to Europe
One of my personal favorite ways to use Chase points is transferring them to Flying Blue and booking their monthly Promo Rewards to Europe for just 15,000 miles each way.
This month, these awards apply to cities like Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more.
If you live near any of those cities, you can book round-trip flights to Europe for you and a special guest for just 60,000 Chase points, which is the current welcome offer.
Once you do, youâll have that $300 Chase TravelSM credit to put toward hotels. And depending on where you go, it could take you pretty far.
I just ran a search in Chase TravelSM and found this hotel in Milan for just $60 a night with tax.
So before paying out of pocket, youâve already booked FIVE nights at a hotel and round-trip airfare for two đ€
2. đ Bring the family to Disney or Universal
Thatâs right folks - this one card could book you a trip to Orlando to enjoy Disney or Universal.
I honestly donât know what the difference is, but I think theyâre basically the sameâŠ?
Anyway, just transfer points to World of Hyatt and book a hotel like this one for as few as 6,500 points per night, right across the street đ

A three-night stay here would run you as few as 20,000 points.
That means you still have 40,000 points and a $300 Chase TravelSM credit to get you and your family down to Orlando.
If you book flights through Chase TravelSM and use a combination of cash and points to pay, youâd have enough to book FOUR ROUND-TRIP flights between New York and Orlando đ±

Thatâs literally a $95 credit card buying a family of four a trip to OrlandoâŠ
3. âïž Stretch it to the limit
Maybe youâre more like me and you want to milk this welcome offer for every ounce of value and go for quantity over quality.
Letâs say youâre already in Japan.
You can transfer Chase points to United and book domestic flights within Japan for just 5,000 miles one-way.
After that short flight, youâd still have 55,000 points left to use for something else!
You can then take that handy $300 Chase TravelSM credit and book plenty of nights at cheap (but super comfy) capsule hotels, too.
This one in my favorite neighborhood of Tokyo (Shinjuku) only costs $25 a night after tax.
Free flights and TWELVE free nights in Japan on a $95 card?? HELL YEAH. Backpackers and budget travelers can really take this offer farâŠ
4. đïž Book a luxury Caribbean getaway
Okay, I know some of you want to live in a perfect world where a simple credit card like the Chase Sapphire PreferredÂź Card can book you some kind of crazy luxury trip.
But as a realist, I need to tell you thatâŠ
Itâs super easy and you DO live in a perfect world đ
After meeting the minimum spending requirement, youâd be just a few thousand points away from being able to transfer to Hyatt and book four nights at this ALL-INCLUSIVE resort in Cancun for FOUR nights.
Depending on where you live in the U.S., that $300 Chase TravelSM credit could also easily get you there and back.
I searched from a bunch of cities and found endless options for round-trip flights between U.S. cities and Cancun for under $300.

Even if youâre traveling with another person, itâs still minimal extra money out of your pocket to book another round-trip flight for them, especially since your hotel is all-inclusive!
5. đș Fly in a lie-flat seat
There are tons of great ways to use Chase points to book really nice, lie-flat, business-class seats.
One of the best ones is transferring them to Iberia and flying from the U.S. to Madrid for just 34,000 points in business class (read more about that sweet spot here)
And if youâre doing the math right now and thinking, âWait, 60,000 points isnât enough for a round-trip in business class,â let me fill you in:
Right now, there is a 30% transfer bonus from Chase points to Avios (including Iberia).
So, your 60,000 points turn into 78,000 Avios, which is plenty to get you there and back đ
Once youâre in Madrid, you have that $300 Chase TravelSM credit to find a hotel, or even use it to book cheap flights onward to another destination in Europe!
This flight from Madrid to Rome is only $64 through Chase TravelSM , so even after booking it, youâd still have a couple hundred bucks worth of points and credits to play around with.

So hereâs the bottom line, folksâŠ
After the previous elevated welcome offer on the Chase Sapphire PreferredÂź Card, we thought itâd be a full year before we saw a good offer again.
Instead, it took about two months, and weâre seeing an even better offer đ
So donât let it slip away.
As you can see, every type of traveler could turn this simple $95 card into the trip of a lifetime!
Cheers,
