Good morning from chilly Seoul, Korea!!

I’m having a fun Asia extravaganza with my fellow Daily Drop writers Tiffany and McKay, so today’s newsletter is going to be EXTRA fun to write.

And hopefully, extra fun to read 😉

Here’s what I got for you:

✈️ Award Drop: Delta to Europe for 30k points round-trip

Delta SkyMiles is not the best points currency out there…

Sadly, we often see prices so inflated that it would take a lifetime to earn enough of them for the most sought-after flights.

Skeleton meme

But once in a while, they throw us a bone and offer some incredible deals.

In fact, right now, they just dropped a bunch of award availability to Europe, allowing us to book flights for as little as 15,000 miles each way… which is freaking crazy.

For example, you can fly round-trip from New York to Amsterdam for 36,000 miles total. 👇

The taxes and fees are also super reasonable at just $99 for the whole round-trip.

But if you have a Delta co-branded credit card, you also get an additional 15% discount on all award flights, bringing the price down to just 30,600.

Email from Delta explaining the cardmember 15% award discount benefit

That price is on par with some of the best rates we’ve ever seen for Europe from other big points programs, but with freaking SKYMILES.

To make things even better, availability is pretty wide open for some months. Here is a look at February right now:

Even if you want to book something way out in advance, you should be able to find a decent deal if you have a bit of flexibility.

This flash sale ends TODAY, so you’ll need to lock in your flights ASAP to take advantage of this.

If you don’t have any SkyMiles lying around, you can transfer MR Points at a 1:1 ratio.

Normally, I wouldn’t recommend this… but with such cheap rates, I think it’s a fantastic use of your MR Points.

Anyway, go lock in those Europe flights and check out the sale page to explore specific routes and prices.

🍪 Tasty Travel Tidbits

😭 Ugh… Marriott just devalued some of their nicest hotels. Luxury properties in places like Europe, the Maldives, and Masai Mara in Kenya have now shot up in price, some of them costing more than 200,000 points per night. R.I.P. ☠️

🥶 It’s official! You can now book United Airlines’ new fifth-freedom route between Japan and Mongolia! It’s a super unique route and a great way to visit one of my favorite countries with miles and points.

🥂 A new luxury lounge is opening in Boston Logan Airport in 2027! Great news for people who hold this credit card and want another lounge option.

10 Amazon Prime perks you need to be using

Are you taking advantage of your Amazon Prime perks??

Whether you’re already a Prime member or considering signing up, here are 10 Prime member benefits you should be using!

For many of us, the free shipping perk and access to exclusive shows and movies is enough reason to fork over the $14.99 per month to get Prime.

But if those reasons haven't been enough to entice you to join Prime, maybe some lesser-known incentives like free music/podcasts, access to lightning deals, and Whole Foods discounts will tempt you to sign up 🤗

🏨 Earn an easy 75k Hilton Points

You may not know this, but most major hotel programs have timeshare properties that they REALLY want to sell you.

So much, in fact, that they’ll offer you crazy deals just to get the opportunity to sell you one.

For example, Hilton is currently offering a crazy deal that will award you 75,000 points just for attending a presentation.

Here is how it works:

You can book a three or four-night stay at various locations in the U.S. for a fixed price on Hilton’s dedicated offer page.

Once you buy a package, you can schedule your stay for some time in the next 12 months.

Once there, you’ll attend a two-hour presentation where they will try every torture method imaginable to try and get you to buy a timeshare.

If you survive (or if you don’t), you’ll get 75,000 bonus Hilton points just for attending.

Some of the locations cost as little as $249 for the 3-night stay, while others cost a bit more.

Here are the locations and prices:

  • Las Vegas: 4 days/3 nights for $249

  • Orlando: 4 days/3 nights for $249

  • Myrtle Beach: 4 days/3 nights for $299

  • Gatlinburg: 5 days/4 nights for $299

  • Hilton Head: 5 days/4 nights for $299

Example of Hilton's timeshare deal for Las Vegas for $249

Overall, it’s not a bad deal just for the stay itself… throw in the 75k bonus points, and it’s just easy free travel.

For example, those points are enough to book a couple more nights at hotels like these ones in downtown Denver:

Examples of two Hilton hotels in Denver for 27,000 and 29,000 points per night

Of course, surviving the timeshare presentation is easier said than done…

So here’s what I recommend:

When you arrive at the presentation, just tell them straight-up that you’re not going to buy a timeshare and you’re only there for the free points.

If they value their time, they’ll see that you’re a lost cause and let you leave early (or skip it altogether).

Anyway, check it out and buy a package before February 11th if you want a cheap vacation with a nice bonus!

That’s gonna do it for today, my friends. It’s rare to see deals this good with Delta SkyMiles, so I hope many of you are able to cash in on it.

Anyway, take care and have a nice day, my friends. ❤️
