Welcome to the weekend! Iām currently packing for my trip to the Middle Eastāa grand effort to get the eff out of the cold and grey Pacific Northwest š
But in the meantime, letās talk travel, shall we?

š Favorite pick of the week: All things, all-inclusive
Sometimes, travel is straight-up exhausting. And stressful. Even for me š«
And sometimes, youāre just looking for an easy, breezy, beautiful vacation that is simple and effortless to book. Fortunately, Iāve got a solutionā¦

Thatās right. As the flawless Zendaya says, booking an all-inclusive might be just the thing youāre looking for if youāre trying to avoid as much stress as possible!
Hereās why: All-inclusives offer a no-stress, all-in-one type of packaged deal that doesnāt require additional planning for food, activities, transportation, etc.
Just let the all-inclusive aspect of theā¦ all-inclusive propertyā¦ handle that for you.
And the best part? You can book many all-inclusive properties with points š
The easiest and most straightforward way, in my humble opinion, is to take advantage of Hyattās all-inclusive hotels and resorts.
They offer a dedicated award chart, which is organized by category (usually, the higher the category, the nicer the property, and the more points required to book).
So you know exactly what youāre getting and for how many points. For instance, the lowest tier of properties start at just 12,000 points per night!
But realistically, youāll find far more properties available in that 20,000 to 25,000 point range, which is still pretty great considering they could be upwards of $500 a night.
š” Pro Tip: Youāll want a card like the Chase Sapphire PreferredĀ® Card that easily transfers its points to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio in order to take advantage of one of these all-inclusive stays!
If youāre looking to take the all-inclusive path for your next trip and want some additional details and examples, check out our full-length newsletter section to learn all about it.

šš»āāļø Runner-Ups
š„ NEW 20% transfer bonus to my favorite program
The latest and greatest transfer bonus is coming in hot from Membership Rewards points to Qatar Airways Avios š
This is good through March 31, 2025, and Iāll tell you why I love it.
Avios is one of the most flexible point systems in the aviation/frequent flyer biz. And thatās because several airlines share this currency, which allows you to transfer Avios between ALL of them.
Those airlines include:
Qatar Airways
British Airways
Finnair
Aer Lingus
Iberia
And even though this 20% transfer bonus is to Qatar, itās technically a transfer bonus to ANY of those other airlines š
I personally took advantage of this and re-booked a couple of flights I had for my upcoming trip.
Because Iāll be flying to Doha on Qatar Airways and through London on British Airways, I was able to save 20% of my Membership Rewards points from The Platinum CardĀ® from American Express before sending them over to Qatar.
I was then seamlessly able to shift these Avios around to both programs to make my bookings on the two airlines.
Itās just soooo good and soooo easy š¤¤
Anyway, if you have a card that earns Membership Rewards points, this is an excellent bonus to an excellent program to keep on your radar before it ends next month.
š„Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines āstatus matchesā
Alaska has been killing it this past year as far as frequent flyer programs go šŖ
And with Alaska and Hawaiianās partnership, we already know there have been increased perks (like transferring miles between the two programs).
So this latest discovery isnāt a true status match, per se, but it gives you the ability to have elite status with both programs.
Let me explain.
Since Alaska now owns Hawaiian, if you earn status with one program, youāll then have elite status with the other if you link your two accounts.
Hawaiian Airlines has much lower requirements to reach their top-tier status, which not only gives you great benefits with Hawaiian, but all your elite-qualifying activity will also be reflected in your Alaska account! š
This is a fun perk to know about if youāre climbing the elite ladder in either program, but if youād like some more examples of how easy earning elite status could be (and what additional perks and benefits you could get), check out this newsletter.
