Here at Daily Drop, we’re always going to recommend transferring your credit card points and miles to transfer partners. This is the best way to make the most of their value, and in turn, get the most bang for your buck.
What exactly is a transfer partner? I’m so glad you asked! A credit card transfer partner is a loyalty program of an airline or hotel that allows you to transfer points or miles from your credit card rewards program to their own program. This can often be done at a 1:1 ratio, but sometimes different ratios apply.
For example, if you have a credit card that earns Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you can transfer those points to airline transfer partners like United MileagePlus or hotel transfer partners like World of Hyatt.
The only problem? These bonuses change by the day, and sometimes, it can be challenging to keep up with them. We hope this one-stop shop is a useful resource in staying up-to-date with those bonuses, especially when you’re looking to make an award redemption.
