Since a young age, McKay has always has a deep passion for travel, and that passion only grew with her first international trip to India in 2017. She has had the opportunity to travel to countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East (her personal favorite). It wasn't until her early college days that she delved into the world of travel hacking, discovering the techniques behind maximizing miles and points for wallet-friendly travels. Now, she’s committed to learning more about the travel hacking world, particularly for beginners looking to start from scratch.
What is your favorite country or travel experience? Spending New Years Eve in India was by far one of my favorite memories. Maybe it was because that was my first time out of the States, but it just felt like the biggest party! That night definitely changed the way I look at the world!
Do you have a favorite travel hack that you’ve done? My friend and I booked a 22-hour layover in Qatar (coming from Egypt) to attend the 2022 World Cup. And because it was only a layover, we were able to sneak in a few travel hacks that saved up tons of money, which was just the cherry on top!
