Ready for some awesome news...?
In a few days we are launching The Daily Drop, our free daily newsletter focused on miles and points, travel-hacking, and other travel news.
Before the newsletter starts showing up in your inbox, I wanted to introduce myself to you. My name is Mike 👋🏼.
I used to be a professional opera singer, but now I work as the Head Writer for FareDrop. I am also a huge travel nerd 🤓.
I travel at least a dozen times per year using miles and points, so Kara and Nate brought me on board to bring you the latest and greatest tips and tricks in the travel-hacking world. Want some credentials?
This is my 2022 so far:
12 countries
21 cities
165 hotel nights
31 flights
The rest of the year:
15 more countries
23 more cities
74 hotel nights
29 more flights
About 85% of the flights and hotels mentioned above were booked completely on points. Sometimes I'm flying in business class to a private island off the coast of Venice and sometimes I'm crammed like a sardine on Ryanair and staying at a cheap hostel.
Whatever your travel style may be, you can do WAY more of it for FAR cheaper than you might realize by using miles and points. That’s why we are excited to teach you all the tips and tricks you need to travel as cost-effectively as possible!
I think we can all relate to this...
And let’s be clear. I’ve been traveling this way for a while without earning huge stacks of money. (remember when I said I used to be a freelance musician?)
With a little time and a lot of strategy, you can start traveling the world without breaking the bank. The good news for you is that I’ve already put in the work to hone these skills, and thanks to Kara and Nate, I’ll be bringing them straight to your inbox 5 days a week!
So back to the newsletter. The Daily Drop will bring you bite-size pieces of travel content in under 5 minutes a day. Here’s what we hope to do:
Bring you the latest news, deals, and tips from the world of points & miles.
Explain why these deals are important and how you can take advantage of them
Entertain. And maybe, just maybe, make you smile 😊
Oh, and one more thing. If you haven't heard, FareDrop is currently offering domestic deals for FREE for a limited time, so be sure to check that out!
If you are already bored and think free travel is for chumps, you're welcome to unsubscribe from the The Daily Drop by clicking here. If you DO want to keep learning about the magic of travel-hacking: Reply to this email and let us know what your favorite travel experience is, no matter how big or small. This will help us get to know you better (and make sure our emails don’t get sent to your spam folder 😉).
With all of that out of the way, I’m going to get back to stockpiling sandwiches from the airport lounge so I don’t need to buy food on the plane.
The Venture X (one of our favorites!) is a premium travel rewards card that offers generous earning rates on travel and dining purchases, along with a wide range of travel perks and benefits. Cardholders can enjoy flexible redemption options for their rewards, making it a popular choice for frequent travelers.
